NATIONAL THEATRE’S PRODUCTION OF PRESENT LAUGHTER

Written in 1939, Noel Coward’s classic comedy Present Laughter presents as a surprisingly modern reflection on fame, desire and loneliness. Depicting a few days in the life of Garry Essendine (Andrew Scott from Fleabag) a successful and self-obsessed actor, it follows an unfolding series of events bordering on farce in which he has to deal with women who want to seduce him, placate his long-suffering secretary and his wife along with overcoming his impending mid-life crisis. In cinemas from February 1, we have 15 in-season doubles on offer to the preview show at Cinema Nova at 6.30pm on Wednesday, January 22. Entries received on competitions@sharmillfilms.com.au before midnight tonight will enter the draw.
