“The theme of National Reconciliation Week, In This Together, is more important than ever,” said Rhoda Roberts, head of First Nations Programming at Sydney Opera House. “While we can’t physically meet and share the same experiences during this time, we can do so online, together.”
Coming together again, although socially distant, will be the team at Delivered Live for another night of great live streamed music on Saturday from 7.30pm. Slip into something comfortable and check out Yackandandah’s own pop/rock duo This Way North, the mighty L-Fresh The Lion and Josh Pyke plus comedy from Danielle Walker, all from your couch.
Delivered Live is free to watch, but tickets can be purchased and funds raised go to the performers and a venue of their choice.
On Sunday from 7pm, direct from Memo Music Hall, some of David Bowie’s greatest songs will be performed with Boom Crash Opera’s Dale Ryder and Taxiride’s Jason Singh out front of a crack band featuring Dave Leslie from Baby Animals. First performed to a sold out crowd last year, Bowie: Golden Years is back for this special live streamed event. Tickets are $12.
