The Bronx Documentary Center‘s yearlong series, Trump Revolution, was disrupted by the COVID-19 quarantine, but the center has adapted, turning its installations into online exhibitions. Having already organized exhibitions about how immigration and the climate crisis have been impacted by the Trump administration, the latest installment, The End of Truth, turns its attention to the ongoing degradation of media standards, as well as declining public accountability for spreading false information in the US.

Divided into several sections, the exhibition includes a detailed timeline of milestones in mass communication going back to the 19th century, an overview of conspiracy theories and the effects they have, and comparisons between reporting on different ends of the objective/biased spectrum. With the Trump administration on its way out, The End of Truth a helpful resource for studying how just four years under a particular government can drastically shape a society.

When: Through January 10, 2021
