I was looking back at some old photos from 2008 and found a folder of digital photographs that my son – at that point only ten years old – took while on a boat ride through New York Harbor. I can certainly understand any young kid with a camera wanting to take pictures of the Statue of Liberty, but it gave me a little laugh to see that he took over 20 pictures in what was probably just a couple minutes. But as I looked at them, I found them kind of interesting to see as a progression, including some where the sun was shining right into his camera.
